Use your local coordinate systems directly in scin®.
If your required coordinate reference system (CRS) is not yet available, we can add it for you.
scin® supports a continuously growing library of coordinate systems for surveying, construction and infrastructure projects.
And many more.
No problem.
If your required coordinate system is not yet available in scin®, our team can integrate it based on your transformation parameters and reference information.
Provide details about the desired coordinate system.
Our geospatial team validates the supplied information.
The coordinate system is added to scin®.
The new CRS becomes available for your projects.
Depending on the coordinate system, we typically need:
Typically 3–5 business days
Usually free of charge
Complete technical documentation of the coordinate system.
Example:
Geoid definition and associated model as geotiff or geoid as to WSG84 definition. In the latter case, the geoid is a locally (whole GB) valid section of a shifted and scaled ellipsoid.
Mapping definition into the horizontal system (projection tmerc or other) of the corresponding ellipsoid and, if applicable, horizontal adjustment grid as NTv2 file or similar. False easting and false northing values and a description of the axis directions and the unit of the axes (m/foot/inch).
